Automobile Transactions and Services
Automobile Title Transfer
To transfer your Automobile title, Seller needs valid photo ID and title. Buyer requires current insurance card or insurance declaration page, current photo ID and a bill of sale.
Duplicate Title
Photo ID required as well as the VIN Number or Title Number of the vehicle. If the name on the title does not match the name on the photo ID then additional information has to be provided for the difference in name.
Registration Renewal
Old registration card, current photo ID and current insurance card.
Auto Insurance
Photo ID, Vehicle Vin Number, Year, Make and Model of Vehicle.
ATV Transactions and Services
We can assist you in all of your ATV title, registration, and insurance needs.
In Pennsylvania, it’s a law for all ATVs to be registered. However, only certain ATVs have to be titled. This depends on the year your vehicle was made. We recommend you call or stop by for more information, and our clerks will guide you whether your ATV needs a title.
ATV Title Transfer
To transfer your ATV title, you need the current title or prior registration card, both parties (buyer and seller) present, and valid photo ID for all participants.
Duplicate ATV Title
A duplicate ATV Title is needed when you lose your ATV title. To replace a lost ATV title, you need to bring the following : valid ID, and ATV serial number and registration number.
ATV Registration Renewal
ATVs have two types of registration renewal: regular or limited. Regular registration needs renewed every two years, and are for ATVs used off of your property, or property leased by you.
Limited Registration are for ATVs used solely on your own land or property leased by you. This type of registration does not expire unless ownership of vehicle changes.
ATV Insurance

Snowmobile Transactions and Services
In Pennsylvania, it is law for all snowmobiles to be registered. Your snowmobile must be titled if bought or acquired prior to October 23, 2001, titling is not required. all snowmobiles after this date do have to be titled.

Snowmobile Registration Renewal
There are two types of registration for snowmobiles: regular and limited. Regular registration is for snowmobiles that will be used off of your personal property, or property leased to you, and must be renewed every two years.
Limited registration is for snowmobiles used only on personal land or land leased to you. This registration has no expiration unless the ownership of the vehicle changes.

Boat Transactions and Services

Boat Registration Renewal
Boat registration must be renewed every two years. To do this you need boat information, and valid photo ID.
Boat Title Transfer
A title transfer occurs between a private buyer and seller. To transfer your boat title, you must have both parties (buyer and seller) present, the current title, bill of sale, and a valid ID for all parties included.
Duplicate Boat Title
A duplicate boat title is needed when you lose your boat title and need another. To get a duplicate boat title, you need to bring photo ID and boat information to our office.
Boat Insurance
Boat insurance is not required in Pennsylvania, but strongly recommended. If you’re interested in boat insurance, we can help you!
Launch Permits
Pennsylvania requires any recreational watercraft without a motor to have a launch permit in order to put the watercraft into the water. Launch permits run from December to December.
All we need is the kind of watercraft. Serial number or VIN number helpful, but not required.

Motorcycle Transactions and Services
In Pennsylvania, motorcycles are treated like vehicles: it’s a law that all motorcycles have a title, registration, and motorcycle specific insurance. Motorcycle registration is annually renewed. To renew your motorcycle registration, bring the following: motorcycle VIN number or title number photo ID, and PA motorcycle insurance.

Motorhome/Mobile Home Transactions and Services

Reconstructed Title
A reconstructed title is needed when a vehicle has been totaled. This is a multi-step process that our employees at J&M Instant Auto Tags & Insurance can assist you with.
First you need to apply for a salvaged certificate. Once received, you must take the car to an enhanced inspection mechanic. After the inspection, come to our location with a salvage certificate, paperwork from the mechanic, valid photo ID, and PA insurance, and we will take care of the paperwork to get a PA title, plate and registration.
Trailer Transactions and Services
Pennsylvania requires all trailers to be titled and registered. At J&M Instant Auto Tags & Insurance, we can assist you with any of your trailer title and registration transactions at any of our locations.
Trailer Title Transfer
To transfer your trailer title, you need to bring the following: current title, both parties present (buyer and seller), and valid photo ID for all participants.
Trailer Duplicate Title
If you lose your trailer title and need a duplicate title, you need to bring the following: vehicle information, all owners and co-owners present, and valid photo ID for all participants.
Trailer Registration Renewal
With a trailer registration, you have three different types of registration renewal options. The first is to have your trailer registration renewed annually. The second is to have your trailer registration renewed every five years, but only is the trailer is less than 10,000 pounds. The third option is to have a permanent registration, which means your trailer needs to be 10,001 pounds or more.
To renew any type of trailer registration, please bring your trailer information and photo ID to our location.
